On behalf of the members of Jeffersontown Baptist Church, welcome to our site. JBC exists to exalt Jesus Christ to the glory of God. JBC is a great place to grow in your relationship with Christ. God is doing extraordinary things among his people. He is building our understanding of the Gospel and the importance of Biblical truth through the preaching of God’s Word and small group Bible studies.
He is also enhancing our love for one another and giving us a passionate vision for missions and evangelism.
Our desire is that Christ would be exalted in our church and in our lives. Everyone is given the opportunity to serve and use his or her gifts for the Kingdom of God.
We are delighted to share with you some information about us and hope that you find it helpful. We believe that all people were made to be in relationship with God and to recognize Jesus Christ as the only Lord and Savior. We seek to honor God by singing and praying together, hearing the scriptures preached, loving God whole-heartedly, and loving one another.
We are an evangelical community of believers in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. Our setting has given us many opportunities to serve and minister. We cannot be sure what the future will bring for us as a church anymore than we can know what tomorrow will bring for us as individuals. We are nonetheless excited about the spiritual growth that God is cultivating in our congregation.
We would love for you to serve God alongside us as we attempt to focus upon the Gospel of Jesus Christ through challenging discipleship and passionate evangelism.
